Valio’s aim is to increase activities that support biodiversity on farms and reduce those that harm it. This illustration is intended to inform about the environmental measures being implemented in the Äänekoski factory area. These measures include, for example, sheep grazing and the control of invasive species. The area has also been identified as a potential habitat for Siberian flying squirrels, and Valio has taken this into account in its operations.
